Our Services

Improved hearing is a multi-step process involving the following:

A current Hearing Evaluation

Communication Needs Assessment

An assessment of your communication and listening needs will assist us in guiding you toward appropriate amplification. Using the Client Oriented Scale of Improvement (COSI), or other assessment measure, we will evaluate your current lifestyle and listening needs, focusing on the areas in which you would like to find improvement. For example, do you have difficulty talking on the telephone or hearing the TV? Trouble hearing in background noise? Do you enjoy listening to music? Do you find any sounds too loud? The more information you provide regarding your listening demands, the better we will be able to help you chose and make the best use out of your amplification.

Individualized Communication Plan: The development of a plan to address your communication needs may include any of the following:

Hearing aid selection

Styles and Technology - Hearing aid technology has improved tremendously over the last few years. From noise reduction capabilities to Blue Tooth compatibility, hearing aid technology is evolving to meet the needs of people communicating in a wide range of situations. Assistive Listening Device Selection, as appropriate. There are many devices such as phone and TV amplifiers that work well for specific situations. Schedule an appointment for a consultation if you are interested.
