Pacific Hearing Service invites you to a hearing symposium
December 5, 2018 @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm
For the first time, we have integrated miniaturized 3D motion sensors and artificial intelligence into hearing aids, turning them into multi-purpose devices.
Hearing aids can now track our physical activities and cognitive engagements, respond to tap gestures, detect and send an alert if we fall, and even translate foreign languages in our ears.
For more on this technology, join Pacific Hearing Service and Dr. Achin Bhowmilk for a discussion on advances in hearing aid technology.
Dr. Achin Bhowmilk does research on human-computer interactions and has served as the Vice President and General Manager of the Perceptual Computing Group at Intel Corporation. He has more than 200 publications and has 34 issued patents.
Coffee and snacks will be provided.
